Back in May i got papers mailed to my house from the father of my child's attorney saying that he was wanting joint legal and PHYSICAL custody of my son. I didn't think that would be fair so that next day i called so many law firms and all i got was either sent to voicemail or someone saying they would get back to me (of course they never did). I finally found Devin Whitt online and gave him a call on my lunch break. He made time that afternoon for me to come in for a free consultation and talk to him about what was going on. He was really nice and seemed actually concerned about me and my baby so i hired him. He has been ontop of everything and knows what he is doing. We settled the day of court and i am very happy with the outcome of my case!
My name is Marcia. I no longer live in Mississippi but at the time of my divorce, I had lived there for 11 years. There was going to be money involved in our divorce settlement, so I chose a law firm that was well known throughout the state, and had 2 Attorneys (also very well-known) representing me. Of course they were very expensive. But I had always believed that “You get what you pay for” so I thought they were going to do right by me. Without going in to a lot of detail, I’ll just say that I was very disappointed and not represented well at all. About a year and 8 months after filing, and moving to another state I was still having to deal with these attorneys and my ex. But one of the attorneys had left the law firm and was on his own. He contacted me to let me know this information, and that also he had an attorney with him that I could use. Since I no longer had faith in “You get what you pay for” especially regarding attorneys, I decided to give him a try. Enter Devin Whitt!!! He took over! He took care of me. From the very beginning, it was not a problem for him that I didn’t live there. He has managed to get things done and tie up the loose ends that had seemed to be a never-ending story for me. I have told friends who still live in Mississippi about Devin Whitt and I would recommend him to anyone - whether you can afford to pay for those “high dollar” attorneys or whether you cannot.
Going through a divorce? Go to Devin Whitt. He's compasionate, understanding and will get the job done.
juliecurl28 - 11/04/2009I would highly recommend Devin to anyone…
I would highly recommend Devin to anyone who is facing a divorce, especially if child custody is involved. He was very attentive to my concerns and addressed the issues in a timely manner. I was confident throughout this rough time that things were being handled properly
Thanks to Devin Whitt i won my divorce case when nobody else gave me a chance. Before i met Devin all i was hearing from other Attorneys was how much i was going to have to pay my ex-wife and that i might as well give up my children. Devin stood up for me and brought the truth out about what was really happening in my marriage. I was not at fault and Devin was ready to fight for me, not just collect a check. I gained full legal custody of my three children and only have to pay a minimal amount of child support! Devin understands that for men going thru a divorce with a cheating wife that we do not have to settle for second place anymore. He understands that the days of men just giving up and losing everything for nothing are over. He is smart, creative and a mastermind at winning the case. Call Devin Whitt today and start a new beginning. I did!
